DT Project

Hello everyone. This is just a quick post to talk about my DT project.Over the past couple of weeks in DT I have been making a bag. When  I was designing my product I wanted something basic and this is what I came with. I put a big claret bow in the conner and a smaller bow detail in the top left conner. 

If you like this then you can make one for yourself. Its really easy. All you do is get two pieces fabric and hem it and the top to give a neat edge, sew on your detail, sew on the handles (made by folding some fabric in half and then in half again and sewing along the edge) and then sew the pieces of fabric together (inside out) and there you have it.

Chino's on a Friday.

1. Hello everyone. Hope you have all had a good week. I would first like to say sorry for not posting this yesterday  I got a bit caught up with my portfolio work and couldn't find the time to post. 

2.Next is about school. I have a great week. Me and my friends enter the school talent show on Wednesday and we got throught which just made my week and rehearsing with them was fun too and then to top it off we had non school uniform on Friday. I always look forward to non school uniform because I love seeing what everyone is going to wear, I get some inspiration from that actually because so many people are in fashion but at the same time make it their own. I see how they make their own little tweaks and see how I can change my outfits in a different way. A lot of people where wearing shorts and tights but no one looked the same. Another popular style was camel color chinos. This is what I wore with my Hollister top. I did say in my last post that I would show you them on and I really wanted to wear it yesterday so I just took pictures form that. 

3. Also this week the weather has been great. It hasn't rain once this week (touch wood) and there has been a clear blue sky everyday.

Hello everyone. I hope you are all having a good weekend. I am sorry I have posted in like two weeks I have just been soo busy. I have had all my revison for my maths exam that was on Monday, Science test also on Monday, French Tuesday, D&T on Wednesday, coursework for all my performing arts portfolio and I have just been snowed under with homework. So today I took a break and went shopping. It was only a quick trip up to the city but I did buy somethings I have been yearning for for ages.

So basically I have been looking for most of these items for ages.

 I have wanted some Chinos for a while now. I was looking for a dark camel color but this is the closest they had and I thought they will go great with a sort of dusky red shirt. 

I thought the belt was a nice touch. I actually found this when I was wait to pay  in the boxes by the till and I really liked it.

I have also longed for a Hollister T-shirt and I finally had enough money to get one. There was lots of different ones and there was some lovely ones in the clearance for £11.90 but nothing that I really wanted. Then I saw this and just had to buy it.

All the other items where just little bits that I liked and knew I would regret if I didn't buy them. I know some of the pictures are not great but I might do a post with them on to show you what the really look like. 

Post title  - This is a line to one of the many amazing songs by Adele. I got her album the other day and it is all I can listen to. I don't only like because we share the same name (tehehe) but I think her voice is just beautiful, very soulful.
